My Happy Skin with Bio-Oil

It's a nice day to sharing my experience to use skincare product and Finnaly I found my happy skin like as my tittle. Well... let me to share and review about Bio-Oil.

Actually I have heard good things about bio oil. Bio‑Oil is a skin care oil that may help improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks, aging skin and uneven skin tone. It can be used on the body or face but avoid the delicate eye area. There are numerous online reviews of Bio-Oil, most positive in addition to the clinical studies. In addition to the reviews, there are hundreds of articles that have recommended Bio-Oil If the product has been recommend around the eyes due to scarring, I recommend applying a test patch in the first instance and evaluate side effects.

I'd like to introduce about Bio-Oil. Bio Oil formulated by Dieter Beier in 1987, with all of new ingredients it grew event better, that made Bio Oil received 191 International awards. it launched on 2002 in international market, but for Indonesia just launched the event report about Bio-Oil launching I posted in HERE!

Bio‑Oil is manufactured in accordance with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) as stipulated by the World Health Organization. All ingredients are tested for adulteration and microbiological contamination prior to production and a sample from each batch manufactured is laboratory tested and then retained and monitored over a 5-year period.

Bio-Oil is a specialist skincare product formulated to help improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone. Its unique formulation, combination of plant extracts and vitamins suspended in an oil base. It contains the breakthrough ingredient PurCellin Oil™, is also highly effective for aging and dehydrated skin. PurCellin Oil reduces the thickness of the Bio-Oil formulation and makes it light and non-greasy. This ensures that the goodness contained in the vitamins and plant extracts is easily absorbed. The toxicological profile, chemical structure, level of inclusion and total level of daily exposure of each ingredient used has been assessed and deemed safe for use (including for use by pregnant women like me now :) ). 

The Inggredients:
Botanicals : Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract (Calendula Oil), Lavandula Angustifolia Oil (Lavender Oil), Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Oil (Rosemary Oil), Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil (Chamomile Oil).
Vitamins: Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E). 
Oil Base: Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Triisononanoin, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Isopropyl Myristate, Glycine Soja Oil, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil, BHT, Bisabolo. 
Fragrance (Rose) : Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Amyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Salicylate, Citronellol, Coumarin, Eugenol, Farnesol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde,,, Limonene, Linalool. 
Color: Orange: CI 26100 (Red 17)

That's all information about Bio-Oil  I got from the web Bio-Oil and now let see my experience with this Bio-Oil. 

The pakacging is simple clear plastic bottle and I think Bio‑Oil packaging is recyclable and all paper materials are certified to be in accordance with sustainable forest management practices. The scent is very soft I think it's like baby oil scent  very comfortable with the soft scent. 

The texture is like water (see the picture above) with the clear orange color. it's really light and non-greasy when I used on my hands because it's light this Bio-Oil is easily absorbed. The price Bio Oil with size 60 ml. Rp. 120.000,-. exclusively available on Guardian.

Well  I started using it first as a body oil. I had heard so much about it working on stretch marks and skin elasticity. I'm pregnancy now, and I had have one lil princess as my first child. So after my pregnancy I have stretch marks in my body. I used it on my tummy, and almost everywhere replacing my daily moisturizer. After about a month of usage, I found my happy skin that  my stretch marks looked a better, and then I decided to finally let it touch my oily face. My  oily skin I need one drop each for cheeks, forehead, nose and mouth. These days, I use it in night facial regimen. Twice a week I scrub my face and then massage a few drops on dewy skin before I sleep.

I used this Bio-Oil  for strech marks, scars, aging uneven skin tone and also dehydrated skin. You may need to apply Bio Oil at least twice a day for 3 months it depends on your skin too, because it has a different result. It gets absorbed super fast as you massage it in your skin, but I would recommend you take a tiny amount at first and then build on it,should be massaged in a circular motion into the stretch marks. During pregnancy, it should be applied from the start of the second trimester to areas that are prone to stretch marks such as the abdomen, breasts, lower back, hips, buttocks and thighs. On new scars, Bio‑Oil should be applied only once the wound has healed, and should not be used on broken skin.

Honestly I can say that Bio-Oil worked  after a week of applying (twice daily) I felt my skin was happy with the results of using Bio-Oil, because the skin becomes smoothed, moist and is much more supple also reduce the signs of aging such as wrinkles around the eyes and certainly stretch marks look better. This statement is based on the true from my experience using Bio-Oil. Results will vary from individual to individual. Bio-Oil can  be as cuticle oil, on my hair as light oil that I wash it in an hour, as a foot oil, you can mix with grain sugar as lip scrub and body scrub also :). I am very impressed with the Bio-Oils work on my scar that I can highly recommend it!

• Does not stain clothes.
• Has a pleasant and light fragrance.
• Available in Guardian as you know Guardian in Jakarta is very easy to found it.
• Has not broken me out till date.
• Can be used as a hair oil.

Cons of Bio Oil:

• For oily skin will look excess oil on the face.

•  Bio‑Oil does not contain a sunscreen factor or SPF. If using a sunscreen apply once Bio‑Oil has been fully absorbed.

Repurchased : Yes I will. Like I said, I'm addicted to this and I recommend it to all my friends who are expecting.
